Why we build

Tax preparation is the largest unautomated knowledge-work category in the United States. CPAs are exiting the profession faster than they can be replaced: three quarters of practitioners nearing retirement, exam participation at its lowest point in decades.
We are building the software the next generation of preparers will actually want to use, starting with the workflow that wastes their time today and ending with the engine the profession has been waiting on.
